Accessibility Information

The Pleasance is a disabled friendly venue, and there are a variety of facilities available for those who would like use them. Do please telephone our reception on 0131 556 1513, for further details, and please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff if you need assistance.

Whilst a great deal of investment has been made in our facilities, we are aware that there are still some services we cannot provide, as well as areas where improvements still need to be made. We will continue to upgrade our facilities, and would welcome your comments and advice that you have. A lot of this is new, and so it would be wise to arrive early, and to let us know that you are coming.

INDUCTION LOOPS, SIGNED PERFORMANCE AND OTHER FACILITIES

  • Large print and braille versions of the Assembly & Pleasance Joint Brochure are available from Reception in both the Pleasance Courtyard and the Pleasance Dome.
  • Induction loops and a portable infra-red hearing system are available on request from the box offices at the Pleasance Courtyard and Pleasance Dome.
  • For signed performances please check individual show listings in the brochure or on the website, refer to the information boards at the Courtyard and the Dome or pick up a copy of the Pleasance Times.
